I want to thank Becky Roberts for kindly sharing her resource books with us. Thursday I received the death certificate for great-grandpa George Dreher. No small feat, in that it has taken me 29-years and five attempts through the Arkansas Bureau of Vital Statistics, to get the correct one. Once I had the correct death year for 83-year old grandpa Dreher, the BVS stopped sending me multiple copies of grandpa's 9-month old grandson and namesake, George Dreher's d/c. My attached letters explained this 9-month old couldn't possibly be the farmer with ten children I sought. I guess they just go by the forms and don't get into the details in the accompanying letter. Routinely, I'd get baby George's death info from pneumonia from chicken pox. My dod from family history was off one year. Becky provided me with the month and year, and that did the trick. Thank you, Becky! Now I have great-grandpa Dreher's father's name also. Sue in Tampa
