I may be wrong, but I believe I know the people who are residing in the house on Hwy 70 between North Little Rock and Lonoke. If you were related to the Alexander family, I do believe the nice lady would be willing to discuss the house, etc. with you. I know I the house and the farm that I am speaking of which I believe to be the Alexander place are to stay in trust for something like 99 years and someone is to live in the house according to the terms of the will, if I remember correctly.

I'm assuming this is the State Mental Hospital in Little Rock. Anyway, is there any way someone who could look up an obituary or news article? His name was Emory Gress and he died December 22, 1924. Considering how close this was to Christmas and the extreme weather they probably had, I'm hoping there was a news article. Thank you so much for any help Sincerely Tracy Critchfield

Jann, If anyone replies to your to email without going through the list, I would appreciate it, if you could forward the email to me. I was born, raised and have lived my whole life in Little Rock, Arkansas and I have never heard of any of these people, places or a Plantation by the name of Jericho. The only plantation I know of around Little Rock is called Marlsgate Plantation. http://asms.k12.ar.us/armem/99-00/coffmanc/margate.htm . I would love to know who these people are and where the places are and about this plantation.
