Betty, thank you. I have very little information about John Pierce Dollar. He was married to Martha Ann Elizabeth Lemley, but have no information about the child they had. This obit is the first thing I've seen about it. I wonder where the Appleton News was published? Lemley & Elaine Weir Cia Died - Appleton News: Mr. PIERCE DOLLAR died the 14th of April and was buried the next day at Sulphur Springs church. The funeral service were conducted by Rev. W.W. Watkins. He had been confined to his bed four weeks, though for some time prior to that, his strength had been failing, and he was unable to pursue his usual acovations. He was about twenty-seven years of age, and had formerly been very healthy. Mr. Dollar professed religion the summer of 1881, and uniting with the C.P. Church, at Oak Grove. So when the summons came to go hence, he was ready, and begged his friends and relatives to meet him in Heaven. He leaves a wife and one child. May they meet him in that happy land beyond. --------------- Hope this helps. Betty Mc
The Appleton news was probably published in the Atkins Chronicle, a weekly newspaper. http://soapsbymimi.blogspot.com/ Check out my blog ----- Original Message ----- From: "Betty Davidson" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, July 07, 2008 1:50 PM Subject: Re: [ARPOPE] DOLLAR > Betty, thank you. > > I have very little information about John Pierce Dollar.
