    3. My Pope County families are Griffin, Carrell, Ford and Johnson. Conections to Ashmore, Burris and others. Have started a new group on Google called Pope County Arkansas History. That is a decussion group about Pope County History and Geneology. It is open to anyone interested in Pope County. http://groups.google.com/group/pope-county-arkansas-history The books being discussed on this list now are Obits that were Printed in the Russillville Couirer only If you have not found what you are looking for Try the Pope County Cemeteries published by the Pope County Historical Association. There two sets one publishe in the 1970's and one that came out in the 1980's. I have the complete set first published. The second set can be found in PCL.
