Edith Amos married Joel Foster 1788. Online sources say in Amelia Co., VA. Need confirmation. Another possibility is Albemarle Co., VA. Joel and Eady moved from VA to old Warren Co., KY before 1818. Warren Co. was subdivided into Allen Co. Joel died in Allen Co. before the 1840 census. Eady moved to Giles Co., TN and lived with her son James A. Foster. They are on the 1850 census. By 1860 she has movedon to Pope Co., AR with her son-in-law Stith Wilson and daughter Nancy. I believe my ancestor Henry Foster, b. 1790 in VA, is Joel and Eady's oldest son. He was living in Giles Co. in 1830-1845. He moved to Searcy Co., AR by 1850. Joel and Eady's children (some of it speculative) Henry + ?Morrow or Melton or Holman?
