I am searching for parents of Bradley Hill 1816-1820 born in TN. Does anyone know if Mary Polly Hill who married George Washington Scott was Bradley Hill's sister? I know her father was William {Billy} Hill from TN. Since both Bradley and Mary Polly were born in TN and both came to Ar. Settled in Pope Co. Ar. could they have been brothers and sisters? Mary Polly Hill Scott also had a brother Bart Hill who was blind is he buried at Haskins Cemetery along with the Scotts. Martha Ann Scott one of their daughters who married James Jeffery Churchill is another of my gggrandmothers. Also Nancy Hill Russell came from Al. to Pope Co. and lived close to Bradley Hill who also came from Al to Ar. Any connection would be appreciated as we believe Nancy and Bradley were briother and sister as she was called Aunt Nancy by some ggrandchildren of Bradley Hill. Bradley and Jane Hill had Martha who died young. William L called Bud, James John Hill, Ephraim Hill, Jesse Monroe{ my ggrandfather} Nancy E. Hill. Bradley died in 1883 and is buried Hill Cemetery in Pope Co. Ar. Thanks for any help Ruby Hill Miller
I am searching for information on Jane Adaline Perrymore and Rachel Arrita Perrymore. They married Riggs brothers-Jane to Albert 1845 and Rachel to John 1844 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee. There were at least 2 other Perrymore marriages in Lawrence Co.--Sarah Perrymore who married 1st James Carter, 2nd Jacob Sanders (1842) and Mary Perrymore to Jesse Franklin Sanders 1845 or 46. I'm wondering if all these Perrymore women are sisters. Jesse Franklin Sanders and wife Mary/Polly Perrymore Sanders are listed in the 1850 Pope Co., Arkansas with 2 children: Sarah and George. Also, Albert and Jane Perrymore Riggs and John and Rachel Perrymore Riggs are listed in the 1850 Pope Co., AR. census. I notice that these 2 Sanders children are living with I think with one these Riggs families in 1860 Pope Co. Arkansas Census. They are probably children of Jesse Franklin Sanders and Mary Perrymore. My husband descends from the Sarah Perrymore/Jacob Sanders line and I am trying to find information on her. She could be a sister to Jane Perrymore Riggs and Rachel Perrymore Riggs. At least they were all in Lawrence co., TN. at the same time at one point. If anyone on this list researches the Jane Adaline Perrymore and husband Albert Riggs line and Rachel Perrymore and husband John Riggs line or the Mary Perrymore and husband Jesse Franklin Sanders line, please contact me. I also think there was a Matthew Perrymore in Johnson Co., Arkansas in 1850, who later migrated to Red River Co., Texas. I think he is connected to these Perrymore girls mentioned above. Seems it was a Jesse Perrymore in Johnson Co., also. An older man maybe his father was living with him, James Perrymore born about 1790's. This James Perrymore was possibly in Giles Co., TN. as early as 1812 and on the 1820, 1830 Giles Co., TN. census, as well as listed on the 1836 Giles Co., TN. tax list. He probably migrated to Arkansas shortly after there. Is he the father of the Perrymore girls in Pope Co., AR.? I would like to know the parentage of these Perrymore girls or any information anyone who like to share and if anyone out there can help, I sure would appreciate it Judy Sanders

Looking for information about Emily Singleton Dunn Kinder. I descend from her and her first husband, James Dunn. She married Adam Green Kinder when her son Charles Henry Dunn was 2 or 3 years old. She is buried in Kinder Cemetery. Also, her daughter in law Maggie Brashear Dunn is buried there. Thanks, Jill
I am looking for any information on Lonzo(Alonzo) and Rubie Morris who were on the 1900 census in Pope County. Lonzo's Mother Sarah was also entered in their household. I have not been able to find any of them after the 1900 census. Ruby/Rubie Scott and Lonzo Morris married 1896 in Callahan County Texas. Lonzo's Mother's maiden name was Seastrunk. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Faye Scott Heffington Littlefield, Texas
Edith Amos married Joel Foster 1788. Online sources say in Amelia Co., VA. Need confirmation. Another possibility is Albemarle Co., VA. Joel and Eady moved from VA to old Warren Co., KY before 1818. Warren Co. was subdivided into Allen Co. Joel died in Allen Co. before the 1840 census. Eady moved to Giles Co., TN and lived with her son James A. Foster. They are on the 1850 census. By 1860 she has movedon to Pope Co., AR with her son-in-law Stith Wilson and daughter Nancy. I believe my ancestor Henry Foster, b. 1790 in VA, is Joel and Eady's oldest son. He was living in Giles Co. in 1830-1845. He moved to Searcy Co., AR by 1850. Joel and Eady's children (some of it speculative) Henry + ?Morrow or Melton or Holman? Elizabeth + Samuel Stalcup Joel + Elizabeth Hicks/Hix, John Jackson + Elizabeth Gilmore Mastin or Marstin + Jane Gibson James A. + Martha Gilmore Nancy + Stith M. Wilson Price + Nancy Harston Mary Jane + Robert Gibson There are likely many more. I have some ideas on who they might be, but am reluctant to post their names in the event I am proved wrong. I've learned that the internet can be an unforgiving place when it comes to bad ideas. Does anyone connect? Bob Foster
