In a message dated 6/29/2008 10:20:46 A.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: Elizabeth Freeman Many of the Freeman's in Dover AR were related to the Bowman family and the Page family. Carrol Freeman was a close relative. (Think I spelled Carrol r ight). He was close to Burl Page and his family as well. There was a Juanita Woods that was a relative of the Bowman family, looked a lot like my grandmother Elise (Ellis). A beautiful woman I loved to visit and talk to. I think she must have died of heart failure around 1996, never heard from her after that and don't know her sister's information to locate her and ask. I have a picture of her and mother when we went to visit Juanita, a very fond memory, a very nice lady. Cheryl **************Gas prices getting you down? John Henry Nichols M. Lula Mary Owens July 12, 1908 in Economy. He died in 1914, and she in 1919, leaving 2 orphan daughters, my husband's Mother and Aunt. They were taken in by their Grandmother, Rebecca Jane Hopson Nichols Macheau Cargill for a few years before going to an orphanage in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. I know they had a cousin named Artie Hickman, and an association with a family named Brown that lived North of Economy. (This family had fruit trees, and they helped prepare the fruit for drying. There was also a retarded son that they played with) John Henry Nichols was the son of John A,(Albert ?) Nichols and Rebecca Hopson. Lula Owens was the daughter of J. B. Buck Owens and Sallie (unknown). I have most dates and cemetery information up to this point--would love to know more about this oldest generation. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you, Carol in Oklahoma

I'd like to know more about this Isaac Wood! The dates are right on. He was born in North Carolina and died in Yell County! I don't have parents or spouses except it is said he was married to Anna Denton. I think this was a second marriage however. I believe he was in Bedford Co. TN in 1820 and Haywood Co. TN in 1830 then in Johnson County AR mid-1830's to 1840-s. In Yell County by 1850. I have the names of some of his children. Where can I find more?
