Nancy (Nannie) Norman, born in Giles Co., Tn. md. George Caruthers (spelled various ways) in Pope Co., Ar.. Nancy was the d/o William Frank Norman, and Permelia Beal Norman. They married in Giles Co., Tn., left there and went into Lawrence Co., Tn., from there to Pope County, Arkansas. Permelia Beal Norman's father was Thomas Smith Beal of Giles Co., Tn. He had sisters, Nancy J. Beal who md. John J. Morphis (they also went to Pope Co., Ar.), Susan/Susanah Beal who md. Nathan Langston, and Ann Beal who md. first to Robert Guthrie, Jr. of Giles Co., Tn., then married John Tom Moody. I would like to hear from descendants of any of these people.Thanks.
