The Poinsett County Historical Society will meet in Harrisburg at the Senior Citizens Center at 2:00 on Oct. 24. The new project includes- collection of information on cemeteries, churches and more family histories. Any suggestions of other areas where the society could be involved are welcome. There are a limited number of Poinsett County history books left for sale.
