Census for 1900, 1910 and 1920. They consistently stated that he was born in Arkansas, but his father may have come from Mississippi or Alabama. He and Mary C. were married in 1890 and had several children: Estelle b.1891, Inez/Nina b.1893,Arthur b. 1895, George/Mason b. 1898, John b. 1900,Lottie/Dimple b. 1904, Netsey/Dutsey b. 1908. I also found John Quitman d. 1923 and Mary Cordelia d. 1949 both are buried in Perryville (Ragsdale)Cemetery in Perryville, AR. There is another John Q. b.1900 d. 1984 is also buried in the same cemetery, he may have been a career Navy man and possibly their son. I'm no relation, just having fun!
