More on Cardon Bottom - My husband and I drove through an area with the uncle mentioned in my prior message, which was posted with a sign saying that name. It is not on the map, that we can find, and my memory is that it was spelled "Cardin." My husband referred to his Arkansas map this evening to try to locate the area in which we drove. He said he believes it is south of Russellville, south of the Arkansas River, off of AR Hwy 154, between Centerville and Pontoon. Look for it near Hollow Bend National Wildlife Refuge.
