I'm really not sure. I suppose it was a piece of bottom land named after a Carden family but that's just a guess. I think it's just an area named after someone. For example on the Fourche La Fave River we have the Westlake Bottoms named after the Westlake family who owned (owns) it. I lived near there while growing up, but haven't been by it but a time or two. All I remember is bottom land along the south side of the Arkansas River. I have several other messages.
