Sharon, maybe you can help me with this one - I found John Fearney Phillips' widow, Adaline (Addie) Graves Phillips, in Skagit County, Washington on the 1900 census. That's where I got the names of their children. Also in the household was Addie's brother, but I can't place him in any of the Graves information I have. He is listed as: GRAVES, L., Brother, white, male, born May 1834, 66 years old, born in Georgia, father born in North Carolina, mother born in Georgia, occupation: gold miner I assume he is a son from Gilliam Graves' first marriage. Do you know of any L. Graves in that time frame?
