There are a few small motels in and around the Perryville and Morrilton areas. If you are looking for something a little nicer or more choices you should consider Russellville or Conway. Each is just a short drive from Perry County. I would suggest checking out both the Conway County Courthouse (in Morrilton) and the Perry County Courthouse (in Perryville). There is also a library in Perry (just north of Perryville) that contains genealogical information. Also the folks in that area are very friendly and glad to help. If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me. Good hunting!! John Baskin Russellville, AR
John, Thanks for the info. So, if I stay in Conway(Russellville looks more out of the way) I will not be too far from the Courthouses in Morrillton or Perryville? That is probably what I will do. Although, I would like to be within walking distance so I can spend all my time researching instead of driving :) I will ck the motels in Conway on the web when I ck out Coffee Creek Landing.
