    3. I have lots of Broyles information in my files as they were closely related in Tenn. My friend Mary Lou Hudson that has researched the Davis family for many years has provided lots of the information I have. If I remember correctly Broyles signed lots of the documents in my files. The Davises and the Broyles lived in Campbell County TN. My grandmother was Nora May ??? (Garren). She was born in Galla Creek AR in 1884 and moved to the Lamar-Spadra (Johnson County) area where she had her family. Then retired to Paris (Logan County). The census shows her first in 1880 in Perry County then the census shows her in 1900 in Pope County. That area is now Yell County. I believe the counties changed names from Perry to Pope and then Yell. Aaron V Davis born in 1832. He was from Campbell County Tenn. Aaron first married an Elizabeth Wilhite in 1854 in Tenn then moved to Barry County MO where they had eight children George M b abt 1858, Sarah J, b abt 1860, John b abt 1860-1862, Thomas S, b abt 1867, Leona, b abt 1867, Georgeana, b abt 1870, Mary E. b abt 1871 and Nancy, b abt 1873. Elizabeth died. Then Aaron Davis married my ggrandmother Kessiah Weisner. They had 3 children. VanDalson b Jan 1877, Charley b 1878, Walter L. b Dec 1880. Aaron died October 27 1880 in Aplin Perry County AR. He is buried in the Deberrie cemetery. Van Dalson Davis married Sofronia and had three children. Emma b May 1896, Edgar b Oct 1897, Dewey b Dec 1899. Van died at a young age of phneumonia. I don't know if Sofronia remarried or not. My Uncle Edgar married Sally (Mary). Uncle Charley Davis moved to Ft Smith. He had several children. Uncle Walter Lee Roy Davis bought a place in Lamar on the bluff called Big Danger. He raised peaches. He had two children W. L. and Pauline. W L is living in Lamar. Pauline died last month and is buried in the Lamar cemtery. My grandmother had Rose b 1907, Ray b 1910, Kathleen b 1912, Troy b 1926, Violet (my mother) b 1920, Dwight b 1922. All born in Spadra. Aaron parents were George Davis b 1807 in Campbell County Tenn and Mary. His brothers and sisters were Elijah, Thomas Bradford, Jemima, Elias R., Leroy, Sarah Matilda, William Michael, Rachel, George Marion, Mary J, Nancy and John Fuch. George Davis Parents were George Davis Sr b 1772 and Rachel . Their children were Hannah b 1795, William b 1799, Matilda Elizabeth b 1870-1801, Leroy T b 1803, Sarah Ann b 1813-1816, Isaac b 1842, Rebecca and Mary (Polly) b 1849 Aarons brother Elijah and Elizabeth (Creekmore) Davis moved to Arkansas, settling near Mountain Berg and Mulberry Arkansas. Chldren FRANCIS MARION DAVIS, b. Oct. 23, 1867 TN; married Mary Ann Austin who d. Sept. 12, 1944 in Okmulgee, OK; buried Keota, OK. WILLIAM DAVIS, b. Feb., 1870; married Mary Bell Meadows. MARY JANE DAVIS, b. Sept. 17, 1871 KY; married George Sumner. GEORGE WASHINGTON DAVIS, b. Mar. 23, 1873; d. 1953; married Nancy Broady. CHARLIE DAVIS, married Haley Sumner. JAMES ZEBEDEE DAVIS, b. Feb. 28, 1875; married Polly Sumner, d/o Nathan and Martha Meadows Sumner. KING DAVID DAVIS, b. Jan. 2, 1877, Mountain Berg, AR; buried Bixby, OK; married Ada Sumner; d/o Nathan and Martha Meadows Sumner. CELVANA DAVIS, b. 1878; d. 1905; buried beside her parents at Piney Cemetery, Crawford Co., AR. Never married. SAMSON WILEY DAVIS, b. Oct. 22, 1880; d. 1961; buried Piney Cemetery, Crawford Co., AR; married (1) Lou Sumner; d/o Nathan and Martha Meadors Sumner. Lou was b. June 27, 1886; d. Mar 10, 1929. Samson married (2) Mary Pointer. LEVI DAVIS, b. July 8, 1884 Mulberry, AR; d. July 4, 1970 Muskogee, OK; buried Keota, OK; married Holly Sumner d/o Mark and Jane Davis Sumner.
