Rayedene, I live in Morrilton. We have some nice motels in this area. Super 8 is the one I recommend to people who come in for reunions, ancestor fairs and such. I know the people who manage it and they are good, clean, reputable people. It is just off interstate 40 at the 108 exit. It is south of I40 on highway 9. You can see it from the freeway. When you exit I40 go south on highway 9 to the first red light. When you turn left at the light you are on their parking lot. There is a Waffle House beside it. This will put you 5 minutes from the Conway County Courthouse and the Morrilton Library. The courthouse hours are 8-4:30 or 5. The library is open 8-6 but they are only open Mon. through Thurs. due to all the government cutbacks. If you should be in this area on the third Monday of any month we would like to invite you to our Conway County Genealogical Association meetings. We meet at 7PM. If you are going to be here during this time and would be interested in attending a meeting, email me privately and I will give you the details. By the way, the Super 8 should be perfectly safe for a lady alone to stay. I would not hesitate to stay there. Please let me know if I can be of further help.
