He was said to be an orphan--his son was told that he was left on the streets of Morrilton, AR because his family couldn't take care of him--In later life he lived at Copperas Gap(Perry Co.) near Houston, AR and worked for a Jack McCauley--He married in 1881 to Mary Jame Brown. I have not been able to trace anything on him--Please help! died: Aug. 7, 1937 in same area--his nickname was Bud--I have also been told that he may have lived with a family by the name of Waller.
