Reeder to Michelle Moore-Bardin, followed by a note regarding my own Reeder and Johnson relations in Perry Co., all of which was posted here by Michelle. This is to correct a portion of that information. Since that note was sent to Michelle, I found a marriage record that James E. Reeder (son of James K.) married a Miss M. O. Johnson on the same date as my grandmother, Miss S. A. Johnson, married a J. E. Reeder. Both were living in Houston and the newly weds had the same ages as my grandmother and her first husband, J. E. Reeder. It seemss reasonable to believe that this was her J. E. Reeder and the clerk simply made an error in Miss Johnson's initials. Likewise the only info we had about J. E. was speculation that his first name was Joseph (one of his sons was named Joseph) and a speculated birthplace of Johnson City, TN (by a daughter in law after a son was deceased). I hope this additional information helps someone.
