I have a George M Davis born abt 1858. At this time I don't know who he married but would guess he had a son George which might be a candidate for your George. This George M Davis was the brother of my grandmother. They lived in Perry County on the 1880 census. Please tell me some dates and locations and I will see what I can come up with.
