I am new to this list and wanted to introduce my lines or research: My Husband's mother's family is deeply rooted in Perry County. I am trying to find all the brothers and sisters of the great-grandparents now. Grandparents are Viola Ora Davis daughter of John Wesley Davis {Came to Perry County from Desoto Co, MS in the late 1890's} and Janie Celia Scott {who also came to Perry County in late 1890's and she is the daughter of J.A>Sccott and Nancie Smith Scott who came with many of the other adult children and families- I have already connected with many of this line's descendents-incluing Herendon} well Viola married Troy Lloyd DILBECK who is the son of William "Albert" Dilbeck and Frances BRAZIL. I recently found "Albert"'s family in the 1900 census still in Alabama. The came to Perry Co, soon after that because the children married in Perry County beginning in 1903. Frances had a second marriage to Jasper Sellers with a bunch of Sellers children. I am trying to connect with anyone connected with this family in any way. I will gladly share what I have. SURNAMES: Brazil, Dilbeck,Scott,Sellers, Patsy New Collierville, TN

Just wanted to note that I got your E-mail. I am not acquainted with any myself but I have heard my mother speak of the surname Brazil but I am pretty sure they were from around the Roland Arkansas area. Probably some relation to the Brazil you mentioned because that would be a neighboring county. I think my mom told me the one of the Brazils was Deck maybe spelled wrong and married a woman whose maiden name was Clay. Well if I can be of any help let me know.
