Rayedene: on Oct 31 you sent me a message regarding the death index for Perry County, in reference to my grandmother Elizabeth Wade Smith. Today I finally rec'd the death certificate in the mail and it is my grandmother. With some of the information I gained from the certificate I was able to find her family in the 1850 census and found my dad and her in the 1920 census. Just wanted to say thank you very much. Now, I have another question. The certificate stated my grandmother was buried in the McGhee Cemetery. I found a map and the cemetery is located between Adona and Perry it appears to be on Hwy 10. I was hoping someone doing the cemetery lookups, might be able to find her grave or give me some advice. She died 3-23-1923.
