Rodgers & his family came to yell county in or before 1884. I have found where he bought 62 acres in 1901 near Dardenelle. Nothing before that. I know that his oldest son, my GrandFather ( W. Z. "lodie" Rodgers ) owned a Butcher shop & hotel in Plainview in early 1900's. A whole city block burned & wiped them out. I have found no records showing where they lived before the fire & if they all lived in one (Yell)county. Thats why I am checking scrounding counties. Any info is appreicated. Thanks Bud Rodgers
