    2. The cemetery book for Perry County is "Living the Times" available from the County Extension Office in Perry County for $20 I believe. It has listings of all known cemeteries in Perry County along with photos and histories of the various communities in Perry County. A limited marriage index is available in the Max Milam Library in Perryville.

    2. Hello! I am a Harmon from Lamar, Johnson County, AR - a near neighbor, I believe. I no longer live there, but I have been working on my Harmon line for over 25 years, and I have a lot of Harmons in my database whom I haven't identified. I am on a computer, away from my own files (or, at least I don't know how to access them from here if it is possible), but I'll check this out for the benefit of both of us and will get back to you to let you know what I found. 1. [ARPERRY-L] Perry County Courthouse Records
    2. I recently sought to obtain by mail any probate records from a relative's death in 1955 from the Courthouse. They wrote that they do not do research (I had sent the death certificate with exact date of death) and recommended a local researcher, Bob Brown. He accepted money for work that he then refused to do and also refused to refund the money paid him for such undone research. I don't know if he only does this to out-of-staters who cannot easily seek recourse, but in genealogy and elsewhere in life, let the buyer beware.
