David, There are probably no newspapers for Perry Co for that time frame. Try the AR archives in LR, they have a listing of all newspapers available in the state. Conway may have had something during that time frame, but he would have had to be living there or be pretty important to have had an obit listed. Looking for a marriage between unknown HALEY and Isabella or Lucretia RANKIN about 1875 or 1876 in Perry County Ark. The union produced a daughter Ida F Haley, born in Perry County 14 Dec 1876. Ida was living with her maternal grandparents, George & Elizabeth RANKIN in the 1880 census so presumeably her parents died before then. Saturday, February 2, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 the Society will be holding a workshop on Family Tree Maker 16. This software is used by the majority of genealogists. The instructors will demonstrate the software, the shortcuts and also the many other features it includes. This workshop will be held in the Conway County Research Room at the Morrilton Depot Museum.
