    2. Has anyone ran into the names James "Jim" DAVIS and his son John Allen DAVIS in Perry. John Davis was married to Mollie (maybe HOPKINS or HOARD) in 1900 in Conway County, AR. Still in Conway County in 1910. In 1913 John A. Davis marries Lillie Grace Ferguson. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY GRANDMOTHER Mollie Davis?? ANY help would be so appreciated. He was said to be an orphan--his son was told that he was left on the streets of Morrilton, AR because his family couldn't take care of him--In later life he lived at Copperas Gap(Perry Co.) near Houston, AR and worked for a Jack McCauley--He married in 1881 to Mary Jame Brown. I have not been able to trace anything on him--Please help! died: Aug. 7, 1937 in same area--his nickname was Bud--I have also been told that he may have lived with a family by the name of Waller.

    2. Yvonne, I do know that Yell Co. will give quick record checks over the phone. Usually no charge and will send them in the mail. Perry Co has done that in the past, not sure about now. I would try the phone check unless you just want to go there. Good luck, Gwen
