Hello, I have family (DAVIS) from Conway/Perry Counties in Arkansas. On the marriage certificate of two DAVIS family members I show RAGSDALE as a witness. Have you come across any DAVIS family in your research?? My web is below. You may go to Surnames, then RAGSDALE. MOSSEL, PARKER, DAVIS, STEWART & MORE! http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ninamiller/index.htm Please be in touch if we "connect" in any way. Thanks so much, Nina
I am researching the Bostick Family from Casa, Perry County, AR. My gggrandfather was John R. Bostick, son of Alfred and Elizabeth Hickman Bostick. I am wondering if anyone is familiar with Opha Mae Bostick. I believe she was married to an Evans. I would appreciate any information. I found her on the 1920 census living in Lonoke County next door to her mother. No other record of her. I was told she had at least 2 children, Elsie b 1917 and Vera who might have married a Lemmons. If someone can check the death index and if you see her on any cemetery list please contact me. Thank you for all the help I know I will recive from these lists. You are all such helpful people! Hi list -- I guess I should post a note on the books. For the Arkansas book I received 56 request for information from the book. Each person is approximately 11 pages of information plus approximately 3 pictures. I am work one person per night. I had some computer problems but now have them fixed. On the Oklahoma book I received 100 requests for look-ups. I have gotten several done but without an index it is slow. I have also received some additional information from the Stillwater Musum. I will include all with the requests. I will answer each one even if I did not find the name. Thank you to one person for the reminder. I did not realize that it had been that long. I am hoping to get several done on Friday. I wanted to finish scanning the book before sending the information. I apologize for the delay. yvonne ____________________________ Colorado Springs, Colorado reply to [email protected] web page: http://www.rmi.net/~henson Names I am researching: Main lines: BRENT(S), GRANT, EDMON(D)SON, HENSON, MCARTHUR Co-lateral lines: BRAZIL, CARLOCK, HARPER ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://home.netscape.com/webmail
