I want to let everyone know about Arkansasgravestones.org, a website that is totally devoted to photographing every gravestone in Arkansas.  I am the Perry County Coordinator for this project.   There are now over 80,100 gravestones statewide.  Of those, Perry County only has 211.  I will be working really hard to increase these numbers.  If you have photos of headstones from Perry County, I would so appreciate your help and welcome you to upload your photos to http://arkansasgravestones.org/   If you have ancestry in Perry County and would like photos of their headstones, you may also contact me at ashaw444@swbell.netand I will do my best to get them for you.

12th Annual Arkansas River Valley Ancestor Fair The ARVAF will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008, in the Multipurpose Building, at the Conway County Fairgrounds in Morrilton, AR. There is no charge for vendors or researchers who set up tables. Admission is free for visitors also. Tables do need to be reserved in advance.
