In the Ar Death Indexes, there is an Elizabeth Smith died 3/23/1923 in Perry Co. It does not give her age, but there would be a death certificate on her you could send for ($4). The death certificate should have her parents' names and places of birth. Good luck!! Terra, I am attempting to establish a death date for Williams Hasten Camp/Kemp. I was In Perryville last week and was able to find his mother Elizabeth and one of his son's named Harper in the 1900 census as boarders. The cnesus takers spelled their last name Kemp. I had to halt my research and return home due to a family illness. I would be very appreciative if you would check the 1910 census for these three individuals. Thank you, Carolyn ([email protected] I just donated a 1910 Perry County census to the FHC here. It also had >Montgomery County and Nevada. I go there on Thurs. They had a girl child born in 1924 at Story. Need any information on this family. Thanks for your consideration in this matter. Emma

Could anyone tell me of a site that would have the census for Perry Co., Ark? I would be so grateful. Thank you, Charla
Hi Charla, I have found a Joe Kelly Ashcraft whose father was Hugh b 1896 married 2-31-1917 and this would make Joe born 2nd child maybe 1919 or so. Joe Kelly had siblings Raymond, Joe Kelly, Johnnie, Cleta May. Lots of this family were in Cleveland and the one who married into our family was the only one I have found outside Cleveland Co. Our line is: William Columbus Ashcraft b 1847 in York Co, SC m a cousin Nancy Jane Ashcraft, they had 4 children: Cora, b 1871 Cleveland Co, AR, Bryon b 1880 married Cornelia Huggins they had childen. Ernest, Thelma, and Anna. Thelma b 1899, Mary b 1885 who married Oop Robertson, and Eugene b 1890. I have an old newspaper clipping of a Robertson Reunion which names all the Children of Oop Robertson and Mary Ashcraft, I will make up a sheet if this would help you any. I also wanted to ask if Vaughan family in Pike and Montgomery Cos AR related to your line. They are involved with a Huggins family in that area. Hope this helps some. Jean
