    3. John, Thanks for the info. So, if I stay in Conway(Russellville looks more out of the way) I will not be too far from the Courthouses in Morrillton or Perryville? That is probably what I will do. Although, I would like to be within walking distance so I can spend all my time researching instead of driving :) I will ck the motels in Conway on the web when I ck out Coffee Creek Landing. 2. Coffee Creek Landing at Harris Brake Lake has nice cabins and a few motel units right outside Perryville. Stayed there last fall and going back this summer.

    3. Lester, I have looked and looked for Ida Pearl, but under the married name DANCER. She came from a large family. Her father was first married to Idah Narcissa Davis from Hardeman Co TN. THey moved to Randolph Co AR where Ida Pearl was born. It appears her mother died in or as a result of childbirth. Her father was Francis Marion Gardner of NC to MS. He had 5 children by his first wife and many more by his second(who also died) and then several more by his third, who also died. He then died 2 days after she. There was an epidemic in Perry Co around1912. I am very interested in Ida and her family! I have lots and lots of info on the Gardners, but do not have the names Seay or Brand in my files. 1. [ARPERRY-L] Robinson / Robertson
    2. I am seeking information on a William Robinson who, according to the 1900 census of Perry County, was born about 1869 somewhere in the State of Mississippi. He married Martha "Mattie" Spears October 11, 1891 in Perry County Arkansas. Marriage is recorded in marriage book "B" page 149. In the 1900 census, Enumeration District number 166, sheet 2, Rankin Township, Perry County, William is shown as being 30 years of age, born Oct. 1869 in Mississippi. Mattie, his wife is age 24, born in December of 1875 in Texas. There are three children listed in their houshold: Ruthie Robinson age 8, born in Sept of 1891 in Ark.; Lelia Robinson age 4 born March of 1896; and Josa Spears a sister of Mattie's, age 13 born Oct. 1886 in Arkansas. According to family traditions there were three other children all died in infancy. One was named Arthur and the other two are unknown but may have been twins. Ruthie Robinson married Al W. Butler June 16, 1909 in Perry County. Lelia Robinson married John Kenney June 14, 1910 in Perry County. William Robinson disappears from the record after 1900. It is not know if he died of just left his family. Family traditions say that he ran away with one of Mattie's half sisters (probably Josa Spears) and was never heard from again. Mattie's second husband was a man named John William Buford. They were married (place unknown) about 1908 and had one son, Johnny Buford. The senior Buford died before 1912 and is suppose to be buried in an unmarked grave near Bigelow. Mattie's third husband was Jasper Marion McCabe. Mattie died June 3, 1937 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Her parents were Ambrose "Bud" S. Spears and Martha Nabors. Ambrose Spears in turn was a son of Robert Spears. I would like to identify and prove who the parents of William Robinson were? Where in Mississippi he was born? And what became of him? Other sur-name interest in Perry County are: Kenney, Gibbons, Spears, James, Butler, McCabe, Rankin Any help would be appreciated. James R. Rasco

Possibly both his and her parents, if listed, and whatever other info is available...birthdates, places, etc. There may also be a death of the bride or a divorce. Leo William married Lola Dell Bond about 1930. I believe Leo and his first wife had 4 children, one son named Lillion Dale Harris or Jimmy Dale Harris born April 24, 1924.
