    3. Janet, Thank you so much. My Leah Broyles was the daughter of Nicholas Broyles and Dorothea Christler. Leah married William McGhee. I found a lot of information on the Broyles website. There was a Kizziah Broils living close to the McGhees in the Cherokee, Alabama 1850 census. Do you have this information? I can send it to you if you would like to see it. 3. There are some land records for Robert Huggins at the Bureau of Land Management site. http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/search/search.asp Go there and put in state of Arkansas - then Robert Huggins. There are three. Let me know if you have any questions. 2. It is strange that my Robert Huggins was b NC 1809, and I believe lived and owned land in Cherokee Co, AL between 1840 - 1850 and was in Pope Co AR by 1850, the family later lived in Perry Co and then Conway County. I'd like to hear from anyone else in our AR area who came from Cherokee Co, AL. area. Jean [email protected]

    3. Janet, My gggggrandmother, Leah Broyles was born in 1775 in Tennessee (I think) and married William McGhee. Their son moved to Cherokee County, Alabama and then on to Perry County, Arkansas in the 1850's. Leah died in Perry County in 1861. Do you have any information on Aaron B. Davis' parentage? There's surely a connection here somewhere. Beth --- JANET MASTERS <[email protected]> wrote: > Beth: > Thank You so much. 3. Beth: Thank You so much. Yes that is my Aaron B Davis. His name was Aaron Broyles Davis and somehow his civil war papers show an alias of Aaron V Davis. Probabily a misunderstanding. My ggrandmother Kessiah Weisner (Davis) was German. The Germans pronunce a B as a V. I really think that is how it became V from B. The affadavit I have says he died the 27th day of October 1880. I am sure this is him. The book has the death date listed as the birth date. He was born in 1832. Thank You Again. When I am in Arkansas, probabily this next fal,l I am going there and look at the headstone.
