Hi Gwen, I was just going through some paper work I had and I found some form you listing Nancy's Mom as Mary A.DOUTHIT. She was the wife of JamesB. DOUTHIT born in TN.. They were living in Perry Co., AR. in 1870 and he had his Mother Catherine living with him and she was boen In GA.. Some one also sent me something telling me that Mary A. Douthit was the sister of John H. DOUTHIT'S 2nd wife Provy Ann PRIVETTE. If he is right then they also had a brother Archibald Yell McCool. Have to go now, Sue

Sue, to my knowledge Nancy Jane had no other spouses except Mr. Martindale. I have heard she did have brothers. Could one brother have been a John H or N. Douthit. I have record of a Marriage between him and Miss A. Southerland. Date of marriage, Dec. 16, 1884. Perry CO. AR. He was from Tyler Township, Perry CO. Gwen

Does anyone know anything about an Opha Mae Evans? I am not sure but I believe her father was a Bostick and her mother was a Poteete. She was born in the 1920's. I would appreciate any help.
