Author: HEAVYWAIT29 Surnames: SHORT Classification: lookup Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.arkansas.counties.perry/760/mb.ashx Message Board Post: If someone will be so kind as to lookup the obituary of Alta Jason SHORT Jr. for me I will appreciate if very much. According to the Social Security death Index he died in Pulaski County, but I posted a request for his obituary on the Pulaski Message Board some time ago, and never received a reply, so I am now posting it on the Perry County board now because he was from Bigelow, and I thought his obituary may be in their paper. He died 15 July 1971. gwait1@suddenlink.net Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 2. Jerry, I have a couple of reasons to think I maybe related to the Stubbs family in that area but have not done much about it, My name is Huggins and a Mr Stubbs was nice to one of my family about 1860-70, he let Ben Huggins built a store on his proeprty on Rose Creek, Ben Carroll Huggins later had a store for many years in Atkins, according to family lore.? Stubbs also turns up in My Gasaway lineage as a grndmother, could it be same line???? Love to hear anything you have on the Stubbs.??
