My grandfather moved to Texas when he was 17 years old. I attended a Greer reunion in Prescott in 1965 and stayed with Minnie Greer Buford, sister to Sardis. Do you know about White Church Cemetery? They show no umarked graves, but I think that is where my Greer's are buried. There is a marker there for A P Greer, father of Newton Carl, but it has the wrong Civil Was information on it. A P Greer was a sheriff in Nevada Co.
