My dad, Jack Pevetoe, knew him, I do believe, or maybe it was Sleepy LaBeff that he knew. We are from Smackover, well, 6 miles N of it. All I can say is I found info on some LaBeffs online when I was searching for concrete info on my dad's aunt Julie Perry Peveto(Peveto Perry, don't know which), and there was a Palsey and a Paulsey both..probably the same person.
