    3. Debbra, are you checking the death list of AR? Gee, I got in on the end of this thread. If you are, please check for Holloway Stokes and Cynthia Davis Stokes. They were in Smackover, Ouachita, AR in 1850. I have such little information. You may not have enough to work with. I don't know when or where they died. Holloway was born in KY, Cynthia in Independence County, AR. They were my gr gr grandparents. I do appreciate your time, and may God bless you all. Sincerely, Rebecca On Mon, 25 Mar 2002 21:22:41 -0600 "Debbra Szymanski" <deb@arkansas.net> writes: > We're going to check into this possibility. 3. Rebecca, Jeanette has the death indices for Ouachita county. They include deaths from 1914 - 1948. I'm sure she'd do a lookup for you if you think these Stokes were Ouachita county for these years. Debbra ----- Original Message ----- From: Rebecca D. 3. Rebecca I looked in the 1948 Death Index for Ouachita Co. AR Soory there were no Stokes listed at. You might want to try Union Co. as Smackover is in Union Co.
