    3. Poison Springs Cemetery (aka Goodlett Cemetery), near Chidester, Arkansas (Ouachita) Directions: From Camden take Highway 24 towards Chidester, turn left on Highway 76 and proceed for 3.9 miles. On your right in the woods you will see a sign: Poison Springs Cemetery, estab. 1864. Directly behind the sign walk up to the top of the hill. Surveyed: January 21, 2002 by Jeanette Ponder and Debbra Szymanski Graves: 1 Next to a large stone is a square piece of weathered concrete with this etched into it: S.G. Goodlett 1815 - 1868 We'd like to thank my step-mom, Bessye Leah Luttrell Arnold Williams for helping us to locate this grave. She has become quite proficient in ferreting out old graveyards. We don't know who placed the modern sign, but we'd love for them to contact us concerning the date it was established. The cemetery itself is adjacent to Poison Springs Battlefield and we'd be interested in any history on it. The ARGenExchange Staff, Debbra ~ Jeanette ~ Barbara ~ Connie ~ Jamila ~ Pam
