J.W. Hollis abt 1850 trying to locate his ancestors. They came from Al. landing at Alabama Landing on Ouachita River and went North. Later they settled in union parish, La. Reuben's sister m. Frances (Fanny) married J. Wesley Cox in 1892 in Union parish. Do you know anything of this family?
