I guess I should have been more specific on my name look-up I requested for Greenwood Cemetery (or any for that matter). The man I am looking for - his whole name is Pharr Rushing Purifoy. It was thought that he was in the Purifoy Cemetery but the stone with his name is not there, then I heard he may be in Greenwood Cemetery. The name on the stone may be only P.R. Purifoy. The story is he was shot and killed in front of a store on California St. in Camden on Feb. 4, 1932. I am also interested in finding out information concerning the shooting - who shot him and why. Any information one might have would be greatly be appreciated by several of us who are researching the Purifoy family.
