    3. The National Archives South East branch in the Atlanta area could Xerox the cards for you, but they will charge a research fee. They maintain the collection and are available for browsing and copying. Each state has it's own box and the cards are arranged (pretty much alphabetically) by county or parish. I have no idea if the have or plan to scan the cards for internet access. Might be worth a call or e-mail asking about their availability. Did you want specific names? I found several related family members, aside from the ones I was looking for by looking at each card from Ouachita County.
