Attebery. He is reported to have lived in both Calhoun and Ouachita Counties. He died in died in 1896 and one report says he was buried in Salem Cemetery near Bearden, Arkansas. If anyone can confirm his burail place I would like to hear from them.

Have you looked in Calhoun County? I know the Attebery family moved to the Salem area after their land was taken for the Shumaker Plant in Camden during the war. I think they may have been living around the Woodberry Area. Most Calhoun County Cemeteries have been inventoried and can be found on either Calhoun County GenWeb Site or on the Arkansas Cemetery Site.
