I have typed s long reply to you three times now and the Ancestry system has kicked it out each time, even though I'm logged in. Must be a system problem. Can you contact me by email? I have loads of census data and an idea about where John Allen was. Who did MaryElizabethmarry? I didn't find her on the census,but she may be in their household and I missed her. Do you have siblings for George and Sarah? I'm fairly sure I have his mother and sibs and I know I have her parents and sibs, and maybe one of her mother's siblings. I can also point you to some good information on Watie's regiment. And,if you have anything at all on the Wood family, I would be very grateful. I'm about 99.9% sure I have the right family and all the evidence suggests that, but I need that one little bit that will cement it in place. I lookk forward tohearing from you. Susan

I have a lot of information on this House Family. My great grandfather was William Dee House, George Washington's brother. I have GW's descendents, siblings and his ancestors back 4 generations. Sarah Jane was the daughter of Lewis Bridges Jones and Elizabeth Meador. GW and Sarah had 4 children, John Allen, Mary Elizabeth, James A., and William. I have descendents for John Allen and Mary Elizabeth but only birth and death dates for James and William. If I can help with any information I'll be happy to.
