    1. Re: [AROUACHI] Ouachita County Cemeteries
    2. If you use this web address you can get a list of the cemeteries In Ouachita county and most of then have been surveyed and have the names of people listed that are buried there. Just copy and paste it in your web browser. http://www.rootsweb.com/~arcemete/ouachita/ouachita.htm If you don't want to do that just type in Ouachita County Arkansas Cemeteries in the search box and the same thing will come up. I don't know if there is a book with all the listings for the whole county, but that sure would be great! You can also use Yahoo yellow pages to look up addresses. If no one has that info for you, you could try that for the library and courthouse numbers. Happy hunting. --- edianegardner <[email protected]> wrote: > Is there a book that lists those buried in Ouachita > County Cemeteries? > > I have bought one for other counties but was not > sure about Ouachita County. > > > > I am planning a trip this Friday to go to AR and MS > on a family search. > > Do you know if the county courthouse is open for a > records search? > > Is the library open on Saturday? > > Specifically looking for Reddin, Nichols, McMurry, > Taylor, Wolfe, Moseley, > and Bradford. > > > > Diane > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email > to [email protected] with the word > 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and > the body of the message > ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals? 3. Is there a book that lists those buried in Ouachita County Cemeteries? I have bought one for other counties but was not sure about Ouachita County. I am planning a trip this Friday to go to AR and MS on a family search. Do you know if the county courthouse is open for a records search? Is the library open on Saturday? Specifically looking for Reddin, Nichols, McMurry, Taylor, Wolfe, Moseley, and Bradford. Diane

    3. Angela, I could only find a W. Jenkins with no dates in the Eternal Rest Cemetery, located on State Hyw 24 to Harvey's Grogery - turn left on Ouachita 12, the cemetery is on the right. Because it has no dates, it is probably very old it might be him. I really found no William N. listed in the Ouachita Co. Cemetery Books. As for Lodema, I only found something close in spelling, a Lnoria Jenkins buried in the Toney Cemetery(Cross Chapel). She was born in June 27, 1908 and died June 4, 1955. For this cemetery take Hwy 7 north, turn left after crossing Freeo Creek at church. For more help, you might look at the Ouchita Co. Webb site. There are people listed I am sure who would be willing to help. Sorry, I could not be of more help.
