I am also desperately searching for information on Lucy Yeager (later Dean), Louisa Dean, James Jefferson Dean, and George Jackson Dean. Thanks. Kristin

Also, I noticed that your maiden names is Hearnsberger and am assuming that Bill & Corine must have had a son. Could you possibly let me know if your father has sisters that could be Daisy & Linnie? This doesn't agree with some others' history, but that's all I have to go on. I have not found them in 1850. I did find some of the other families (Pevetos, Fogles and Laboeufs on earlier censuses. If the 1860 census is accurate they arrived in Arkansas between the birth of Theodore (c1845) and Leonet (c1852. The Ouachita County website has an article on Frenchport that includes some info on these families. The story of their arrival may fit the Pedrons. It does not fit the other families who were in Louisiana as early as 1805 and show up in Arkansas about 1836. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Dee, thanks for your reply. James Robinson died in 1866 in Ouachita County, Arkansas. However, I cannot find any record other than family histories and one online from the East Georgia Genealogical Association that he was ever there. I thought I might find some record there. Is anyone out there familiar with any African American Hodges who lived in Ouachita County Arkansas since about 1850-60? Martha Hodges, an african american woman had a son named Will Hodges, (born around 1864) who died in a drowing accident when he was in his early twenties. He had two daughters, Claudia and Willie by a african american woman named Jenny. (no one knows her last name). Martha married Isom Morgan around 1870 or so. They show up on the 1880 census as married with 16 year old Will Hodge as the stepson. Martha was born in Tenn. and it has been said that she was brought to Camden, AR by her slave owners - the Rodgers Family. Anyone have any knowledge of a Rodgers family in Camden, AR?
Amanda East, a Black woman, worked for David Felsenthal and was on the 1880 census as being his servant. She lived there with her five children. She later married Seaborn Hays/Hayes and changed all of their last names to Hays/Hayes. Are there any probate records or a will on file for David Felsenthal? Gail H. Banes Cleveland, OH

I have a Jane Lee of Mickleton Co Durham 1856/7. The family was in mining. She married a John Cameron, born Middlesbrough Durham of Scottish parents. I am trying to find out whereabouts in Scotland. His mother was Eupehmia (Effy)McKinnon b 1812/13, his father was Duncan Cameron born Scotland 1811/12, married in Middlesbrough 1847 but both were born in Scotland. Her father was John McKinnon a furnaceman and she had a lodger John McKinnon on the 1851 census for Middlesbrough. His father was John Cameron, "a Mason" (marriage cert). There is a large group of McKinnons at Stranton near Middlesbrough headed by Hector McKinnon who was born at Campbeltown. I cannot make a connection to these. Any ideas for Effy and Duncan's origins would be appreciated . Of course they may not come from the same place in Scotland. I wonder why they married in England both in mid 1930s. Any ideas would be welcomed. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I am looking for a James Robinson and his wife (Amanda Lovelace Robinson) who were in this county at some time in the 1860's as he died here in 1866. She later moved to Ouachita Parish, Louisiana to be with her children who settled at Calhoun. Does anyone know of this family and where there might be some will, probate or other information I might find.
