Trying to locate the "Family Bible", that Otha Jouett ARNEY used to fill out Tennessee Delayed Birth Certificates, for his 4 children: Otha Jouett ARNEY (30 January 1875 to 26 April 1956) married Nancy Lucy Creacy SMITH (2 May 1877 to 9 August 1956) Their 4 Children were: 1. Myrtie Lee ARNEY (19 May 1900 to 21 October 1973) married Benjamin Harrison VAUGHN, Sr. (15 October 1888 to 31 March 1971). 2. William Ervin "Bookie" ARNEY (17 January 1902 to 15 January 1977) married Rosie C ABBOTT (29 August 1926 to 1 March 2006). 2. William Ervin "Bookie" ARNEY (17 January 1902 to 15 January 1977) married Carrie CONNORS (1910-????) 3. Waymon Dibrell ARNEY (12 November 1905 to 9 November 1994) married Minnie CONNER (1908-1927, died during childbirth). 3. Waymon Dibrell ARNEY (12 November 1905 to 9 November 1994) married Hazel Adaline VAUGHN (14 July 1915 to 6 July 1978). 3. Waymon Dibrell ARNEY (12 November 1905 to 9 November 1994) married Virda BROWN (1918-????) 4. Stanley Goble ARNEY (27 November 1909 to 12 May 1979) married Berth Claudine MELTON (12 July 1914 to 14 April 2012). Now, my best "genealogical" guess, is the "Family Bible" probably landed in the hands of their Daughter, Myrtie Lee ARNEY-VAUGHN, who passed away back in 1971. Going one "genealogical leap" further, I believe the "Family Bible" probably landed in the hands of one of her children. [It's my policy not to list LIVING Ancestors, for their privacy] I will look over my notes, to find the names of Myrtie Lee Arney and Benjamin Harrison VAUGHN's children.
