Hi all, Well, I have had a very "basic" website, concentrating on Arney Genealogy, up for a few years now, but I want it to be much more. Unfortunately, I'm no website designer, and even though they have software to help, I'm still at a loss. Mainly, because I'm not sure what kind of "content" to put up on it. I'm not asking anyone to help me, create or run it, and I'm not asking for any money. I would simply like, when you get a chance to take a quick glance, and give me suggestions that might be helpful to you. In this way, I know it will be helpful to others. Now, I'm not wanting to bog it down with pages of gedcom after gedcom, if you know what I mean. I'm still actively looking for what I term, "DTP" (Definitive Tangible Proof), scans or photocopies of documents, etc. I have finally received a "scan" of Jacob Arney's Will, written in 1782, and it reveals more of the rest of the Will, than I have ever seen. I'm still working at trying to enhance the image, so that it might be "transcribed" some day, soon. I also, recently received images of Jacob Arney's first (and only known) land purchase, in Tryon County, North Carolina, in 1772, with a more in debt description of his tract. I'm also in the process of receiving a scanned image of Peter Arney being "bound out" to John Fullenwider, in 1787. I plan on adding all these items on the website soon. So, if anyone can give me some ideas, I would definitely appreciate it. Thank you, for your time, consideration, and cooperation.
