Hello , everyone is so good to answer. Thanks to all ! Yes, George Spurlock b.1837 that married Sarah Harp, is mine. I have very little info on the Harp Line. Would love the history of the Harp line. & Civil war info. I know that in the 1860 census ,Newton Co AR. George Spurlock was 22 b.KY & Sarah was 20 b.AR. Then in the 1870 census Newton Co AR. George was 32 & Sarah was 30 , also a child Susan Spurlock 8 & Necia Harp 19 & William Harp 12. ""Were Sarah's parents dead ?""" Then George or Sarah ,I am unable to find on anymore census. If George died in the Civil War, did Sarah remarry ? Was Susan their only child ? This is all I know abt George & Sarah . Woud like to know who Susan Spurlock married ,etc. I read somewhere that the Civil War lasted longer in AR , many family members fought on different sides. I have the descendants of some of George's brothers & I also have his parents , if anyone would like ,I will be happy to send. George had 2 sisters, Barbara Spurlock b.1833-34 & Susanna Spurlock b.1834-45. Does anyone have any marriage records on these two please ??
