Hi all: I am reseaching my greatgrandfather's family: Asa Callicutt Hamm, b. Jan. 15, 1837 in Wayne County, TN. I believe his father was Samuel Hamm, b. 1794 in Spartanburg County, SC, died 1848 in Wayne County, TN. Samuel's other children: Eber Smith Hamm, b. 1822, m. Elizabeth Hayes, b. 1825; Sarah Hamm, b. 1825, m. William A. Bradley, b. 1826; Caroline, b. 1826, m. Samuel Newton Cypert, b. 1826; Nancy Jane, b. 1828, m. James A. Anderson; George W., b. 1832, m. Mary?; Asa Callicut, b. 1837, m. Martha Bradshaw and others. Most of these families lived in Wayne County but then moved to Arkansas in Franklin, Searcy, Pope, Marion County area.
