Hi Am working on the Jesse Walter Phillips line of Newton and Johnson County and have some old correspondence from a Hazel, who is a Phillips, a granddaughter of Daniel Russell Phillips. She may have been the daughter of Sherman Phillips, and she may have married a man by the name of John Sartin (I think) This is an old letterand it doesn't have her last name, address or name other than Hazel. Below is all I have on Sherman (General Sherman?) Phillps, son of Daniel Russell Phillips and Clarissa Brasel. Do any of you know anything about the Sherman (General Sherman?)
