Before time gets away from me I want to thank each and every one of you who has submitted their information on the county. As I have told you before, the county site is YOURS because without you it would be nothing. You have shown great support and interest and I appreciate it very much. Please give yourselves a pat on the back! I hope to see the success continue in the next year. If anyone has a suggestion on a page they would like to see created - please contact me. I would like to know if there are volunteers that would like to help on getting the census records posted on the website. Now it cannot come from published books as there are copyrights. But if we could all work on just maybe 10 or 15 pages of a census year before we know it they would all be up and running. If you are interested please contact me. Let me know the year and once I get notice from those wishing to help I will let each one know what pages to work on so that we won't have more than one doing the same pages. For Newton, Howard & Sevier Cos., Ar I do have the 1850 census on cd and am working on those myself right now. I would like to purchase a microfilm reader so that I could work on the census fairly regularly and then donate the film to that county. But I have not found one yet. I am in my slow period with work so I have been trying to get all the information posted that is submitted to me within a weeks time. I apologize that during my working months that I may not get the sites updated any sooner than once a month. But during that time I am usually only home one weekend out of the month. For those of you who do not know, I am the owner of Genealogy Shoppe. I have met many of you from the websites at genealogy seminars that I have taken Genealogy Shoppe. I have enjoyed putting faces with names. So if any of the rest of you attend a seminar - I have not had time to post my next years dates on the website yet - please look and see if I am there and come by and say hello. I have been limited to Ok., Ar., Mo., Tx., La., Tn. & Ks. But now that I have another person helping me out I hope to be able to expand to other states so I hope to see you!
