He is listed in the Overton Co, TN, census in 1850: LOOPER, Jobury, 37, TN; Elizabeth, 39, f, TN; Manerva, 16, f, TN; Rachel, 14, f, TN; William, 9, TN; Jackson, 5, TN; Malinda, 5, TN; Solomon 1/12, TN. He is then in Newton Co, AR, in 1860, household #256: LOOPER, Joseph B., 47, TN; Sally, 46, TN; Malinda, 15, TN; Jackson, 15, TN. I am hoping to discover the marriages of daughters, Manerva (1834) and Rachel (1836). A search of the 1860 census reveals a possibility in household #266: BINUM, Pleasant, 24, TN; *Rachel*, 23, TN; James, 8, AR; Nancy J., 7, AR; M. E. (f), 3, AR. Can anyone identify the above Rachel, wife of Pleasant Binum? It will help my search, also, to know that she is not a Looper. Thanks!! Vonnie
